Important Information for AdSense Publishers:

CPC, CPM, CTR What is PPC?

CPC-  Cost Per Click:  This CPC means how much Google will pay per click on ads. The best way to earn from Google Adsense is CPC. This means, you get paid every time a visitor to your website clicks on your ad. That means no, you can click on your own add.
Clicking on the publisher's own ads is strictly prohibited. Google is much smarter than all of us. Don't trick relatives into clicking ads. Google will cancel your account if caught.

CPM-  Cost per thousand Impression: The number of times a visitor views your ad. Google will pay you for every 1000 views.

CTR-  Click Through Rate: What percentage of your visitors clicked on the ad. Generally a CTR  of 5-10% is good.

If you can arrange articles with high CPC keywords, you can earn very well with 5-10% CTR.

If CTR is more than 15% your account will be canceled. Google thinks 5-10% CTR is standard. More than that, it means that the publisher is clicking on the ad itself in various ways that are outside of Google's policy.

PPC - Pay Per Click : Google follows this method on the advertiser. This means PPC is the money that Google takes from the advertiser for every click on the advertisement that Google places on your website.

How much can you earn?

Income depends on your article writing and website promotion. The more visitors to your site, the higher your CPM. And if the CPM increases, the CTR will continue to increase.

Always keep CTR in mind. Login to your AdSense account at least once a day and check  if your CTR is more than 10% then turn off the add.  See 1 day CTR rate decreases then display the ad again.

Use Google Analytics to get CTR and visitor details. Google Analytics is a very powerful tool for site bloggers.
